MASSAGE. Rubbing your root chakra helps re-center your energy and relieve stress. Start off by massaging your entire foot--heel, arch and toes. Then rub just the outside part of your foot between your heel and your arch. Repeat process on other foot.

The idea is to massage specific spots on your feet that stimulate your chakras (spots Buddhists view as energy focal points), and then paint your toes in a way that enhances the vibe. Massaging your sacral chakra helps you be more creative. You only need your left foot for this one. Rub just the outside upper-middle part of your left foot. Do this for a total of 15 to 20 minutes every other week. POLISH. Feeling the headaches of homework? Red toes (red is the color of your root chakra) kick up the energy you need to get the job done. Need to juice up the creativity? Paint those piggies orange (that's the sacral chakra color). Julie's pick? Do an updated version of the classic French pedicure by using red and orange together. Use red as your base color and orange at the top, (or vice versa) to give yourself a double dose of go-get-'em vibes.
