KARAOKE KOREN'S A HIT FOR BAGGIES.
ROBERT Koren is hoping Albion stay in tune for a title triumph - because 'We are the Champions' is the only English song he knows!
The on-song Slovenian midfielder is desperate for West Brom to finish in top spot so that he can lead a chorus of the Queen classic.
Koren, pictured, has become better known for belting in smashing goals than belting out smash hits with nine league strikes so far this season.
But he admits that his choice of karaoke song is quite appropriate as Tony Mowbray's men close in on the Championship silverware.
"I don't know many English songs,"said Koren. "Most of the ones I could sing would be in Slovenian! If I had to choose, I would pick 'We are the Champions' by Queen.
"I know a lot of the words to that one.
"It's a good song so hopefully I will be singing it soon. It's really popular back home and when teams are winning it's always played."
Koren was Mowbray's first signing when he joined from Norwegian club Lillestrom last January.
But he admits the biggest culture shock he received in English football was the pre-match music blaring out of the Baggies dressing room.
"It's not easy when you're coming from another country, everything's different and it's a different culture," said Koren. "For me the most strange thing is that we're listening to music before the game. I've never done that before. But it creates a really chilled out atmosphere so it's really positive."
Koren's creative qualities have helped Albion storm to the top of the Championship hit parade.
And the 27-year-old playmaker is backing the Baggies to still be at number one when the season ends a week today.
"Throughout the whole season we have proved that we play with a good style," added Koren.
"But in the end it's always about the results and you need to be focused on doing your job right and staying at the top."
