KAMAN DECLARES INITIAL DIVIDEND ON NEW PREFERRED STOCK

 BLOOMFIELD, Conn., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaman Corp. (NASDAQ: KAMNA) today declared its initial dividend on depositary shares representing newly created Series 2 Preferred Stock of the corporation. Each depositary share will receive 34.3 cents, payable on Dec. 1, 1993, to shareholders of record on Nov. 19, 1993. The dividend is prorated for the period from initial issuance through Nov. 30, 1993 at the annual rate of $3.25 per depositary share.
 On Oct. 22, 1993, in an exchange offer for its 6 percent convertible subordinated debentures, Kaman issued 1,143,348 depositary shares, representing 285,837 shares of the company's Series 2 Preferred Stock.
 The depositary shares are traded on The Nasdaq Stock Market (NASDAQ: KAMNZ).
 Kaman Corp. is a widely diversified company providing high technology products and services to industrial, commercial and defense markets.
