K-tel Announces Credit Facility.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1998--K-tel International Inc. (Nasdaq:KTEL) Friday announced that K-tel Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Philip Kives, along with President David Weiner, have agreed to provide a line of credit of up to $8 million to the company.

If needed, borrowings under the credit line may be used to pay for operational, marketing and promotional costs related to the company's recently launched on-line music service "K-tel Express" (www.ktel.com). The loan, which is subject to approval by its senior lender, is intended to serve as bridge financing Bridge Financing
