 K-III COMMUNICATIONS DECLARES DIVIDEND ON PREFERRED STOCK
 NEW YORK, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- K-III Communications Corporation announced today that it has declared a dividend of $.6301 per share on its senior exchangeable preferred stock payable Aug. 3, 1992 to shareholders of record on July 20, 1992. The dividend is for the period commencing with the data of issuance of the senior exchangeable preferred stock through July 31, 1992.
 K-III Communications is a leading media and information company. Its publications include Weekly Reader, Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia, Daily Racing Form, and Seventeen and New York magazines. It was founded by William F. Reilly, Charles G. McCurdy and Beverly C. Chell in 1989 in partnership with Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts.
