K-12 engineering education resources.

The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is promoting the importance of engineering education to K-12 educators through its ASEE EngineeringK-12 Center and its newsletter Go Engineering!

According to ASEE, the goal of the ASEE EngineeringK-12 Center is to identify and gather in one place the most effective engineering education resources available to the K-12 community. The website, at www.engineeringk12.org, includes resources for students, parents, teachers and engineering faculty.

The Go Engineering! newsletter is currently going out to thousands of K-12 educators across the country. A recent issue included articles on engineering and sports, a model car contest, the need for improving K-12 engineering education, a report on best practices for attracting minorities to engineering and fun facts for the classroom.
