JustSystems' xfy Secures Top Honors in Inaugural "IBM Information Management Awards".

First-Ever IBM "CTO Innovation" Award Recognizes JustSystems for Technology Innovation Excellence in Delivering Exceptional Business Value for Information Management with the xfy Enterprise Solution

PALO ALTO & ANAHEIM, Calif. -- JustSystems, Inc., a leading global enterprise software company, today announced the company has been recognized by IBM as a winner in this year's inaugural "IBM Information Management Awards." JustSystems was selected from seven semi-finalists as the winner in the "CTO Innovation" category.

The awards, presented at this week's IBM Information On Demand Conference, recognize IBM Information Management Business Partners demonstrating excellence in delivering exceptional business value for Information Management and providing cutting-edge solutions based on the Information Management software portfolio. Winners and finalists were selected from among those IBM Business Partners who have exhibited ongoing commitment of time and energy to providing innovative solutions using IBM Information Management software.

The CTO Innovation category specifically recognizes "those visionary Business Partners leading the charge in exploiting Information Management's latest capabilities in innovative, leading-edge and exciting new ways." These unique solutions will be drivers for tomorrow's new markets, fostering innovation at an ingenuity level outside the normal boundaries seen today. Award judges recognized only one winner from a field of nominees including some of the world's top technology companies.

"To be recognized among such an esteemed group of industry leaders is an honor and a testament to JustSystems technology leadership," said Hideki Hiura, CTO, JustSystems, Inc. "We take pride in delivering solutions that enable customers to realize increased business value from their IBM implementations by harnessing the power of XML-based solutions."

JustSystems, recently elevated to IBM Advanced Partner status, has been a longtime IBM partner and continues to build new solutions around IBM capabilities. The most recent evidence of the companies' partnership is JustSystems' IBM DB2[R] 9 Data Server Certification for its xfy[TM] (pronounced 'x-fie') XML-based application platform Co a move that gives enterprise customers confidence in the ease of integration between IBM DB2 server software products and the JustSystems xfy product line.

The xfy Enterprise Solution delivers the first client environment for DB2 9 featuring advanced business functionality, enabling enterprise customers to easily manage and deliver information across multiple reporting sources and formats directly to the desktop. The resulting visual presentation is controlled by the end user and easily customized according to individual information needs, without the need for extensive training or programming skills. With xfy, business users now have the ability to unify all types of information, add business structure and increase business agility with dynamic decision making.

JustSystems is exhibiting at the 2006 IBM Information On Demand event (booth #D403), taking place October 15-20, 2006 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
