Portal's Infranet Software Provides Real-Time Customer Management

and Billing for Juno Web and Juno Gold

Portal Software, Inc., a leading provider of customer management and billing software for providers of Internet services, announced today that Juno Online Services, L.P. has selected Portal's Infranet(R) software as the customer management and billing platform for its new fee-based services, Juno Gold(SM) and Juno Web(SM). Based on the real-time customer management and billing capabilities of Infranet, Juno(R) members can now choose from three levels of service, ranging from free basic e-mail to full Internet access available on a billable basis.

Previously offering free basic e-mail service exclusively, Juno recently launched Juno Gold and Juno Web to meet the expanding Internet needs of its members. Juno Gold is an enhanced Internet e-mail service that enables subscribers to send and receive non-text file attachments along with e-mail messages. Juno Web includes full Internet access plus all of the features of Juno Gold.

With its real time, no limits(TM) design, Infranet will enable Juno to manage customers through all stages of interaction with new online services, including activity tracking, product pricing and billing.
