Juniper Networks Protects Customers from New Microsoft Vulnerabilities Disclosed Today.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) today confirmed its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect customers against the new Microsoft vulnerabilities announced today.

Juniper Networks' IDP systems, running operating code versions 3.0r4 and above, and the ISG firewall/VPN systems with IDP provide coverage for the vulnerabilities listed below:

--MS06-013 -- Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer

--MS06-014 -- Vulnerability in the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) Function Could Allow Code Execution

--MS06-015 -- Vulnerability in Windows Explorer Could Allow Remote Code Execution

--MS06-016 -- Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express

--MS06-017 -- Vulnerability Using Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions Could Allow Cross Site Scripting
