Junior buys up patchwork properties in Hemlo camp.

Ottawa-based Beaufield Resources will be among the largest landholders in the Hemlo gold camp after acquiring a 100-per-cent interest in two separate mining properties from six individual prospectors from Heron Bay and Marathon.

The two claim groups cover 20 mining claims totaling 2048 hectares and are contiguous with Beaufield's existing Hemlo Joa property, scheduled for drilling in the coming weeks.

With these acquisitions, Beaufield will hold 10 kilometres of strike on the Hemlo horizon in an area that has seen limited recent gold exploration.
