June 1 Ceremony at Golden Gate Bridge to Mark Trailways' Return to San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- Trailways, best known as North America's leading organization of independent motorcoach owners and operators, lost its 870-mile route between San Francisco and Seattle when its largest member company, the former Continental Trailways, was sold to Greyhound Lines Greyhound Lines is the largest inter-city common carrier of passengers by bus in North America , serving 2,200 destinations in the United States. It was founded in Hibbing, Minnesota, USA, in 1914 and incorporated as "The Greyhound Corporation" in 1926.  in 1987.
