The team covers everything that published and unpublished authors need to know about the peer-review process--and what readers need to know about how journals help ensure credibility of information.

4:00 PM--5:30 PM Manuscript Review

Editor-in-Chief Dr Jules Rothstein always says that without manuscript reviewers, journals could not exist. This session covers the Top 10 Best and Worst Things that reviewers can do--and the consequences for both authors and readers.

Based on the Journal's popular series, this session shows attendees how to frame clinical questions effectively; how to efficiently identify, locate, and apply the evidence that exists in the literature; and how to deal with uncertainty when no evidence exists. Charles Ciccone, Editor for Physical Therapy's Evidence in Practice (EiP), and members of the EiP team conduct a live demonstration of an online search and discuss the role of evidence in the clinical decision-making process.
