Jordanian-US committee discusses closer cooperation.

Washington, Feb. 27 (Petra)--The Joint Jordanian-US Committee held a meeting at the US Department of Defence (Pentagon) that was chaired on the Jordanian side by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is by law the highest ranking overall military officer of the United States military, and the principal military adviser to the President of the United States.  Lt. General Mashal Mohammad Zaben.

The meeting focused on scopes of cooperation between the two countries as well as means of further boosting them in various fields.

The meeting was attended on the Jordanian side by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein .

Prince Faisal of Jordan (born October 11, 1963, Amman, Jordan) is the son of King Hussein and Princess Muna Al Hussein, and the younger brother of King Abdullah II. He graduated from Brown University in 1985 with a degree in electrical engineering.
