Jordan Telecom Upgrades IP Network with Juniper Networks Routing Platforms; E- and M-series Routers Secure and Assure Nationwide IP Backbone Network.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:JNPR) today announced that Jordan Telecom, the leading Jordanian telecommunications provider, is deploying Juniper Networks E- and M-series routing platforms to form the core of its national IP network as the first phase of a major network upgrade.

Jordan Telecom will extend and scale IP connectivity to provide a diverse range of services including voice, video and data services to its customers throughout Jordan. The network also serves as an IP backbone for the entire country of Jordan, to be used by all Jordanian ISPs for domestic and international communications.
