Jones turns up the heat on Ridsdale; Ninian files Bluebirds diary with Terry Phillips.
DAVE Jones cranked up the pressure on Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale on the way back from Reading.
Manager Jones, who is keen to bring in a couple of loan players, drove his own car back along the M4 and threatened Ridsdale - with an ejector seat exit!
"The chairman had to sit next to me all the way back and I worked on forcing his hand," said Jones.
"I had the ejector seat button ready in case he said no."
City certainly need a striker in now that Ross McCormack's return has been delayed by probably two weeks.
Jones would love to sign a Premier targetman on loan, plus a second loanee to operate just off a big man.
