. A meeting of the medical advisory team is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2005 to discuss Lakey's ongoing work with Sanguine and the completion of PHER-O2 testing.

Thomas C. Drees, Ph.D., president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , remarked, "We are extremely excited to have Dr. Lakey join the team in conducting our PHER-O2 development program. As I have mentioned previously, the fragile islet cells culled from donor organs can be severely damaged during organ cold storage or by the drugs given to recipients to prevent rejection; additionally the pancreas itself can be damaged. As a consequence, most islet transplants require two to four donor pancreases to produce enough cells for the recipient to become insulin independent. Our goal, with pursuing this indication, would be to significantly increase the viability of transplant cells, thus increasing the number of islet cells available for successful transplantation. Dr. Lakey's experience in using PHER-O2 by having already completed its animal study, we feel, is paramount toward conducting a rapid and cost-effective program for Sanguine. We look forward to meeting with Dr. Lakey and several members of our medical advisory board on Oct. 19 to continue forward with our development program."
