Jonathan Barek Joins Telos Venture Partners as Principal for $140M Venture Capital Firm; Brings Decade of Experience in Venture Capital, Finance.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 2003

Telos Venture Partners, a leading early-stage venture capital firm, today announced that Jonathan Barek has joined the firm as a Principal. In this role, he will evaluate investment opportunities for Telos Venture Partners II, which closed in late 2002, and will work closely with Telos portfolio companies. Barek began at Telos in April, and he currently has responsibility for Telos' investments in Intraspect Software, Softface, and Turin Networks.

Before joining Telos, Barek spent the previous year working on venture capital-related projects for Donald L. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ) and SLP (Service Location Protocol) An IETF standard used to announce and discover services such as printers and file shares on an IP network.
