Johnny Depp to narrate 'The Doors' documentary.
The renowned band, which made waves in the 1960's with songs like 'Riders on the Storm' and 'Light My Fire', are still loved for their classic songs.
However, the band had a tragic end, as its vocalist Jim Morrison died of a drug overdose, after which the band eventually split in 1973.
The 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' actor will be narrating Tom DicCillo's flick, which has been titled 'When You're Strange', reports the Screen Daily.
Although, the flick premiered at the Sundance Film Festival with a
narration track by DiCillo, Depp has been signed up to narrate an updated version.
"Johnny saw the film early on, we showed him an early cut and he responded very strongly to the subject matter," Contactmusic quoted producer Peter Jankowski, as saying.
Meanwhile, 'The Doors' have sold around 80 million albums worldwide. (ANI)
