John Wiley & Sons (Hoboken, NJ) has launched two new journals. Targeted to molecular biologists, materials and biomaterials scientists, biomedical engineers, chemists, clinicians and surgeons, "Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine" carries information on research and applications of stem or progenitor cells combined with biomaterial scaffolds and bioactive agents for the repair, replacement of damaged or diseased Cells, tissues of organs. Launched qith a January/February issue, the journal covers all aspects of the field from the design and development of the systems to studies in animal models and clinical trials in human patients. Published six times a year, an annual subscription costs $275. Also to be published six times a year, "Statistical Analysis and Data Mining" addresses the area of data analysis, including data mining algorithms, statistical approaches, and applications. Topics include problems involving massive and complex datasets, new algorithms and statistical approaches, and evaluation of analyses and solutions. To be launched later this year, an annual subscription price has not been set.
