John Trani.


The CEO who made Stanley Works the poster-child for how not to try moving a company's HQ to Bermuda. Trani Trani (trä`nē), town (1991 pop. 50,429), in Apulia, S Italy, on the Adriatic Sea. It is a seaport, a beach resort, and an agricultural center, famous for its wine. Trani enjoyed great prosperity at the time of the Crusades (11th–13th cent.) and again in the 15th–16th cent. is retiring because "now is an opportune time." At age 58? Yeah, right.
