John E. Gillick Joins Zuckert, Scoutt, & Rasenberger.

WASHINGTON -- Zuckert, Scoutt and Rasenberger, L.L.P., is delighted to announce that, effective May 1, 2005, John E. Gillick became a partner in the firm

John comes to the firm from the Washington office of Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw Pittman. John has been in the private practice of law since 1975. Prior to that, he was an attorney in the General Counsel's offices at the Department of Transportation (1970-1972) and the Air Transport Association of America (1972-1975). From 1988 through 1992, John was a member of the Board of Directors of America West Airlines America West Airlines was one of the United States' ten major airlines. The airline was based in Tempe, Arizona, and is now a part of US Airways Group.

At the time of its integration into US Airways, the airline maintained two hubs, one at Phoenix Sky Harbor International

John brings over thirty-five years of experience to the aviation regulatory and finance practice of Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger. That experience includes advising and representing U.S. and non-U.S. passenger and cargo airlines, business jet operators, helicopter operators and aircraft manufacturers, as well as other aviation-related companies.

John graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1970. Apart from teaching at Georgetown, John and his wife Patricia have endowed a need-based scholarship fund for law students.
