John C. Higgins Joins ORX Resources, Inc.

 Resources, Inc. ("ORX"), a privately held exploration and production ("E&P") company headquartered in New Orleans, announced today that John C. Higgins, formerly President of Murphy Exploration and Production Company, USA, has joined the Company. Mr. Higgins will assist the Company in its exploration activities, portfolio management and new business development. Mr. Higgins is a geologist and has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry.

Prior to joining ORX, Mr. Higgins was employed by Murphy Exploration and Production Company, USA ("Murphy") for the past 16 years. Most recently he served as their President, a position he held since 2003. From 1999 until 2003, he was Murphy's Senior Vice President of Exploration. Mr. Higgins initially joined Murphy in 1990 as a Senior Geologist. Prior to joining Murphy, he founded an independent oil and gas exploration company focused onshore on·shore
