The addition of Alonzo to the Matthews board is pursuant to the announcement by Gregory Moiseeff of his retirement. Moiseeff has served for many years as Matthews' general counsel, secretary and a member of the board.

Moiseeff stated that he recently resigned from his general counsel and board positions to "devote more time to his many longtime personal interests and to enjoy his retirement." He will continue to serve as Matthews' secretary.

DeMattos commented: "Greg has made many contributions to Matthews over the years, and we all value his past work and devotion. We are happy that he will now have the opportunity pursue his personal interests."

Matthews Studio Equipment Group designs, manufactures, sells and rents grip, camera and lighting support equipment for the film, television, commercial photography and theatrical production industries worldwide.
