But the big issue here is that we shouldn't be killing stuff because we want to start a fire. It's totally reckless and irresponsible, and yes, that is how skateboarders should act--but only on pavement. We're supposed to be tearing down the negative aspects of our existence (which are man-made) brick by brick, not destroying the earth tree by tree. I think RIDS shouldn't send that sort of message to all the kids abroad. While those dudes are not good role models to begin with, they should be conscious of the influence they have among skateboarders. I ain't no hippy and I think Element is pretty much extra cheese, but dudes cutting down healthy trees is not cool. Skaters are supposed to talk shit to and steal the girlfriends of raw jocks. We're not supposed to be raw jocks.
