American International Group, Inc. (AIG) (NYSE: AIG; TYO: 8685 ) is a major American insurance corporation based in New York City.
 Inc. is cutting 600 jobs after acquiring Woodland Hills-based 21st Century Insurance Group. The New York-based insurance company said it is combining its auto unit with 21st Century, giving the unit 5,500 employees.
