Jewelers are a great fit at 29 West 30th Street.

Winoker Realty Co. announced the completion of three leases at 29 West 30th Street, totaling 16,150 s/f.

Winoker brokers, Barry Bernstein, senior managing director and Arnold Shlansky, director, represented the three tenants--Great L and H Trading, GT/Canicas Gems, and Unica Accessories in their transactions. The building is owned by 29 West Thirty L.L.C.

"These three new tenants will bring a uniformity to this building. The space and location cater to the needs of those in the costume jewelry and accessory business, and will allow them each to better serve their customers," said Bernstein.

Relocating from Brooklyn, Great L & H Trading entered into a five-year lease for 3,350 s/f. The firm offers over 200 styles of sunglasses, reading glasses, and accessories and markets its products to Italy, Russia, Asia, and American buyers.

Canicas Gems, Inc. entered into a five-year lease for 6,400 s/f, an entire floor of the building. Canicas Gems is moving from its former headquarters at 1201 Broadway. It specializes in the sale of precious, semi-precious and synthetic stones.

Unica Accessories doubled its space from 3,200 to 6,400 s/f for a term of five years. The main office and showroom will occupy its new space. Unica sells hair and fashion accessories to US, European and Latin wholesalers.

These companies join two other jewelry industry tenants in the building--Lorena Jewelry and Luxx Jewelry.

29 West 30th Street is a 76,800 s/f office building located between Broadway and Fifth Avenue. Asking rents in the building are approximately $31psf.
