"Ever since the first beta of Windows 2000, we started receiving calls from beta testers that their scanners do not work with Win2000 and they wanted to see if we had a third party solution. Our development team worked hard for a solution that would address some of the hardware and software problems that people are having with scanners and Win2000. Most of these problems revolved re·volve

"In addition, we worked hard on making the software [easy] to install, [document], and use. This was needed since so many Win95, 98, and NT users are trying to make the transition from entry level scanner buyers to medium level professional or small business users," continued Wernersbach.

It retails for $79.95 and users can upgrade for the price of $49.95.
