Jesse McCorvey Appointed Vice President, Corporate Communications, Life Therapeutics.

ATLANTA -- Life Therapeutics (ASX:LFE) announced today the appointment of Jesse McCorvey to the newly created senior post of Vice President, Corporate Communications, effective immediately. He will be responsible for directing all corporate communications with investors, employees, consumers and other constituencies. McCorvey served as Director, Public and Investor Relations with the company since it moved from Australia to the United States in 2004.

"Jesse has been working hard behind the scenes as we have grown and transformed into an international biotechnology business success story," said Dr. Hari Nair, President and CEO, Life Therapeutics. "This year he will play a pivotal role in developing the communications strategy to further our acquisition plans and to support the company's application for NASDAQ listing. We have also asked him to serve as communications liaison between senior management and our donor centers, which span the United States," said Dr. Nair.

McCorvey will continue to manage production of the Annual Report, investor newsletter, press releases, advertising and other ongoing communications.

Prior to his tenure with Life Therapeutics, McCorvey directed advertising for Serologicals Corporation in Atlanta and has been a consultant for industry in the areas of marketing and advertising. In 1996 he served as a Project Manager for the Olympic Games in Atlanta.

An Atlanta native, McCorvey earned a degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and a Master's degree from Brenau University in Gainsville, GA. He serves on the Board of Directors for the West Point Society of Atlanta, and as Commander of the Atlanta Chapter of the Military Order of World Wars. He also is a member of the 2006 Congressional Advisory Council for U.S. Congressman Tom Price (GA, 6th District).
