Jerry Fiddler, Father of Embedded Technology, Joins Axis Systems' Board of Directors.

Axis Systems Inc. today announced that Jerry Fiddler, co-founder of Wind River Systems and considered by many to be the "father" of embedded technology, has joined the Axis Systems Board of Directors.

Fiddler graduated from University of Illinois with a double major in music and photography. He received an M.S. in computer science, with an emphasis in computer-generated music. He has published and presented numerous papers and articles on embedded technology and the role of computers in everyday life. He has a home music studio and a band, XAZ, for which he is a songwriter and plays acoustic, electric and classical guitars, and guitar synthesizer.
