Prior to joining HealthNow, Pomerantz was regional vice president and chief medical officer of Excellus Health Plan in Rochester and regional vice president and chief medical officer of its Univera Healthcare division, which serves more than two million members. Pomerantz is currently assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and served as associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Rochester The University of Rochester (UR) is a private, coeducational and nonsectarian research university located in Rochester, New York.
