(PINK SHEETS:JRVE) and subsidiary Jarvis Networks has selected TXU TXU Texas Utilities (Electric and Gas Company) TXU Transmitter Unit Communications (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :TXU) to provide bandwidth for the Westlin Data and Network Operations Center See NOC. Network Operations Center - (NOC) A location from which the operation of a network or internet is monitored. Additionally, this center usually serves as a clearinghouse for connectivity problems and efforts to resolve those problems. (NOC (Network Operations Center) A central or regional location for monitoring a large network. Also called a "network management center" (NMC), "service management center" (SMC) or "network control center" (NCC), a NOC may be used to manage a large enterprise network, ) office building and underground bunker. TXU Communications will supply connectivity to the Westlin Data Center, NOC, and the Jarvis Networks Bunker facility. The TXU connectivity is designed for OC-48 capacity and multiple fiber DS-3 and OC-3 connections to deliver speed, reliability and redundancy to the location. Jarvis Networks will use this connectivity for its state-of-the-art, self-healing sonet network, which can automatically reroute traffic in the event of an outage, such as a cable cut. The high speed, digital fiber connection will allow Jarvis Networks to offer a host of services to building tenants and bunker customers, including voice services, leased line A private communications channel leased from a common carrier.
