Jarmel Kizel Architects gets day care center job.

Continuing its presence in the day care marketplace, Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, Inc., a leading architectural firm headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey, was recently awarded an assignment on behalf of the Y's Owls Day Care Center.

At 65 Horse Hill Road in Cedar Knolls, Morris Center YMCA purchased a 20,000-SF industrial facility located next to the existing YMCA of Morris County. Jarmel Kizel will be refitting 14,000 SF of this facility to serve as a day care center, with the balance being converted into an indoor play area and gym. Jarmel Kizel obtained all site plan approvals, as well as provided design and budgeting services for this project The new Y's Owls facility is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2003.

Matthew B. Jarmel, AIA, MBA, principal, Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, served as partner-in-charge for this assignment. "We are pleased to have been awarded this rewarding assignment on behalf of the Morris Center YMCA and to ultimately be continuing our efforts within the day care industry," Jarmel commented.

The Learning Experience is a privately-held company whose principals have over 23 years of experience in the preschool business and are the founders of Tutor Time.
