Japan Data and Communication Research Institute (NPO) Makes Announcement.


TOKYO -- Meidensha Corporation has successfully completed the new hardware product named "Security Box" incorporating the new-generation transport layer security protocol (networking, protocol) Transport Layer Security protocol - (TLS) A protocol designed to allow client/server applications to communicate over the Internet without eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery.

TLS is defined in RFC 2246.
 TCP (1) (Transmission Control Protocol) The reliable transport protocol within the TCP/IP protocol suite.
