Japan : Astellas, U.S. firm to develop, commercialize prostate cancer drug.

Japanese drugmaker Astellas Pharma Astellas Pharma Inc. (アステラス製薬株式会社   Inc and Medivation Inc, a U.S. biopharmaceutical firm, said Wednesday they have agreed to develop and commercialize worldwide a drug to treat prostate cancer prostate cancer, cancer originating in the prostate gland. Prostate cancer is the leading malignancy in men in the United States and is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer death in men. .
