MTNA welcomes Jane Snow to its distinguished roster of competition sponsors. She joins corporate sponsors Baldwin Piano Company The Baldwin Piano Company is the largest US-based manufacturer of keyboard instruments, most notably pianos. It is a subsidiary of the Gibson Guitar Corporation. History , Conn-Selmer, Inc., Yamaha Corporation of America, Gibson Musical Instruments, Slingerland Drum Company The Slingerland Drum Company is an historic drum company which is linked to the rich history of jazz drumming. The company was founded by H.H. Slingerland (1875-1946, either Henry Heanon or Heanon Henry) in 1912. , Steinway & Sons, Warner Bros. Publications, Inc. and Sylvia Shepherd, sponsor of the Distinguished Composer of the Year award. Snow will support the national winner award in the Senior and Young Artist Voice Performance Competitions beginning in 2004.

"Advanced high school and collegiate singers need much encouragement and financial assistance on their road to a possible career. It is an extremely challenging and costly path they have chosen to follow," Snow says of her generous gift. "I am delighted to join with MTNA in recognizing the ability of these young people who are the future artists of classical vocal music."
