James Bond 007: Colonel Sun Colonel Sun was the first continuation James Bond novel published after the 1964 death of the character's creator, Ian Fleming. Published in 1968 by Glidrose Productions, it was credited to "Robert Markham", a pseudonym created by Glidrose for British novelist Kingsley Amis.
