The two-year deal calls for McCormack, affectionately known in the triathlete world as "Macca", to actively endorse the Jamba Juice brand and work with the company to promote its products in conjunction with his sporting event appearances.

Macca entered the professional triathlon circuit in 1996 as an inexperienced rookie, but rapidly rose to success only eight months after his debut, taking the World No. 1 position and defeating arguably the greatest field ever assembled in triathlon history, to win both the 1997 Triathlon World Championships and the 1997 ITU World Cup Series. Last year alone, Macca won the Goodwill Games, the Australian National Championship, the WildFlower Half-Ironman and more than 10 other events around the world. He is an affable Australian who has been chosen Triathlete of the Year for three out of the last five years. In April, Macca won the Forster Ironman Australia (his debut Ironman competition) and on May 4, successfully defended his Jamba Juice WildFlower Half-Ironman title.
