It is part of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 7,527 at the 2000 census. . Elizabeth Johnson and Wyatt Jackson Wyatt Jackson (wyattjackson.com) started performing throughout the New England region with his own hip-hop "crew" in the 1980's and worked with the acclaimed Boston Youth Theater for seven seasons.  are artists in residence to teach dance and choreography choreography
