Jackson.com Features New Adviser Support Tools and Investor Education Resources; New Site to Replace www.jnl.com

LANSING, Mich. -- Jackson National Life Insurance Company([R]) (Jackson) today unveiled a new corporate Web site, www.jackson.com. As part of the company's commitment to developing its online capabilities, Jackson has added a host of enhanced tools and services to create a highly valuable resource for advisers and their clients. In addition to applications that allow for online transaction processing and client data management, jackson.com features multimedia educational presentations and detailed product comparison guides, as well as efficient navigation and a streamlined registration process for new Jackson representatives and product owners.

"Advisers and their clients are increasingly turning to the Web as a primary resource for financial transactions, education and research. However, very few Web sites in our industry deliver a comprehensive set of tools and resources that are easy to navigate and understand," said Mike Wells, Jackson's vice chairman and chief operating officer. "Our goal was not only to satisfy the demands of our customers by providing a functional, well-designed Web site, but also create an online experience that exceeds users' expectations and makes it easier for them to do business with Jackson."

The newly launched Web site represents the initial phase of the company's online initiative. Jackson plans to incorporate additional functionality and make further updates to the site. Some of the new features now available include:

* Enhanced VA Trading and Book of Business Management: Registered representatives can access their entire book of Jackson variable annuity business, conduct trades and mass trades, and search and filter client data and portfolio performance information.

* Personalized Dashboard: Upon logging in to the Web site, advisers gain immediate access to all of their most important information including pending Jackson transaction status, client watch list, frequently used forms, subaccount watch list and VA book of business value.

* Enhanced Forms Search: A new search module allows representatives to find and quickly access their most frequently used forms based on transaction type, product and state.

* Virtual File Cabinet: Advisers can store and access all Jackson correspondence electronically.

Jackson's new Web site also serves as a valuable educational resource, with innovative multimedia presentations designed to help advisers and their clients gain a better understanding of Jackson's products, as well as review retirement income planning strategies, investment and tax information, and relevant industry trends. In addition, Jackson has created a multimedia tutorial that demonstrates all of the features and services available on the new site.

"The demand for comprehensive Web services will increase exponentially over the next several years, as advisers and their clients gravitate toward the convenience of conducting transactions and accessing information online," said Wells. "As the wants and needs of our adviser partners and their customers evolve, we will continue to upgrade Jackson's Web site by incorporating feedback from our users, adding new features and providing the best technological solutions available."
