Jack Paller, Co-Founder of Biosonics, Inc., Dies At Age 71; Company to Move Ahead On Determined Course.

Jack Paller, co-founder and CEO of Biosonics, Inc. (OTC BB: BISN), the Fort Washington, PA-based electro-therapeutic medical solutions company, died Monday (July 5) at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Huntingdon Valley, PA, after a brief illness. He was 71.

Biosonics recently initiated a sales and marketing effort in the Mid-Atlantic States to make physicians, dentists and specialists aware of its Salitron System for the treatment of dry mouth.

"We will continue our proactive marketing stance within the medical profession to bring greater awareness and use of Biosonics' products," Pileggi said.

Mr. Paller co-founded Biosonics, Inc., along with Dr. Henry Brenman in 1980 to explore unique ways to utilize low-voltage energy in the treatment of certain intractable medical conditions.

With Mr. Paller's business savvy and Dr. Brenman's 35 years of experience with electro-therapy, the company developed six, patented electro-therapeutic devices, four of which have been approved by the FDA for marketing.

The products include the Salitron System for dry mouth; the Cystotron for urinary incontinence; the Anotron for fecal incontinence; and the BIDDS Glove, a diagnostic tool to be used by the physician to predetermine the effectiveness of the Cystotron or Anotron.

A son, Robert Paller, who had been appointed to the company's Board of Directors in June, 1999, and a daughter, Julie Paller, survive Mr. Paller.
