The specs will tell you that it delivers 1/3 more detail than any other HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture. Although some HDTV sets are available in standard (rather square) screen sizes, the overwhelming majority of sets are wide screen, which eliminates technology for the most cinematic picture so far. But your journalistic sense will tell you not to believe it until you see it. So we're taking the new JVC HD-ILA See LCoS. LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) A technology used to make microdisplays for rear-projection TVs and head-mounted displays (HMDs). Each LCoS chip hosts a grayscale LCD shutter sandwiched between a cover glass and a mirror. HTDV on the road and we're asking you to come see it for yourself.
