JVC Earns Top European Prizes in Three EISA and One TIPA Divisions.

Tokyo, Japan, Aug 29, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC) received top honors in three divisions in the 2006-2007 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awards. EISA presents one of the most prestigious product awards in the electronics industry. The projection TV, compact Video / K2 Audio system, and mobile A/V head unit were named best of the year in their categories.

EISA is an organization for editors of leading European video, audio, photo, home theater, and mobile electronics magazines. It was formed in 1982 and currently has a membership of 52 magazines in 19 European countries. Each year it selects the best video, audio, photo, home theater, and mobile products for recognition. Its 'European Awards' are both prestigious and authoritative, a mark of excellence for consumers and industry people in Europe and the world at large. JVC has been honored by EISA for eleven consecutive years.

JVC also received the top honor in the Camcorder division of the 2006 Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) European Photo and Imaging Awards. Every year, TIPA editors vote for the best photo & imaging products introduced in Europe during

EISA Awards

I. 'European Projection TV 2006-2007' - JVC HD-70ZR7U
