GOVERNMENT: Federal, state, county and city offices, courts, libraries and animal shelters will be closed Monday. The U.S. Postal Service The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) processes and delivers mail to individuals and businesses within the United States. The service seeks to improve its performance through the development of efficient mail-handling systems and operates its own planning and engineering programs.  will not deliver mail.

SCHOOLS: Schools will be closed.

TRANSIT: Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  city buses and MTA (1) (Message Transfer Agent or Mail Transfer Agent) The store and forward part of a messaging system.  buses and subways in Los Angeles will run on a Sunday schedule. Metrolink trains, Santa Clarita commuter buses and Antelope Valley Transit Authority Antelope Valley Transit Authority is the transit agency serving the cities of Palmdale and Lancaster and their suburbs. Antelope Valley Transit Authority is operated under contract by Veolia Transport, and is affiliated and offers connecting services with Metro and Metrolink.  buses will not run.

BANKS: Banks and financial markets will be closed.

TRASH: Trash pickup in Los Angeles will be delayed a day throughout the week. Trash will be picked up in Burbank and Glendale.

STORES: Most malls and supermarkets will be open.
