JUDGES ACT FAST IN ELECTION FILINGS.Byline: Jesse Hiestand Daily News Staff Writer Most of the nine Ventura County judges up for re-election this year moved quickly Monday to file a declaration of intention to run in the June 2 primary election. On the first day to file such declarations, seven of the judges personally came to the county elections office to submit paperwork and pay a nonrefundable filing fee of $1,073.90 for a Superior Court seat and $980.70 for a Municipal Court seat, an elections official said. Candidates have until Feb. 4 to declare an intention to run.
