JUBILEES : TIMPANO.


Bruno and Vera Timpano of North Hills celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Hills. It was followed with a luncheon reception at the Odyssey restaurant in Granada Hills with more than 50 close friends and family members attending.

The two met as teen-agers when Bruno drove from Beaver Falls Beaver Falls, city (1990 pop. 10,687), Beaver co., W Pa., on falls of the Beaver River near its junction with the Ohio; settled c.1793, inc. 1868. They started writing to each other when he returned to Beaver Falls, and continued their correspondence during World War II while Bruno was in the U.S. Army. Vera worked for the LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA)  as an educational aide before retiring five years ago.

The Timpanos are the parents of four - Regina Cardenas of Northridge; Frank Timpano of Denver, Colo.; Janet Surman of Costa Mesa and Shirley Lang of Woodland Hills - and grandparents grandparents nplabuelos mpl

They have lived in their home in North Hills for more than 30 years and are active in the Bella Vita Club of Westlake Village, an Italian-American social group.
