JUBILEES : EX-RANCHERS HITCHED 60 YEARS.


The 60th wedding anniversary of Mario and Emma Prevedello of Lancaster was celebrated with the renewal of their vows at the Sacred Heart Church The Sacred Heart Church may mean:

 in Lancaster with Monsignor Tim O'Connell officiating. It was followed with a family luncheon at the Desert Inn in Lancaster.

Mario, born in Germany of Italian parents, spent his childhood in Italy, emigrating to the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  at 15. He settled in Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. , where he worked as a gardener, rancher and part-owner in a dairy, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1937.

Emma was born in Tuba, Texas, spending her childhood in Italy before returning to the United States at 19.

The two met while Emma was working in a Santa Barbara bakery. They were married in the Little Guadalupe Church in Santa Barbara and after working and saving for 14 years, they invested their nest egg Nest Egg

A special sum of money saved or invested for one specific future purpose.

Twice the couple nearly lost the ranch because of bad weather and the Tehachapi earthquake, but working hard together, being patient and combining love, effort and determination, they made their ranching career a success.

In 1964 they sold the ranch. Mario retired for two years and then began a career selling Antelope Valley real estate until 1985 when he retired at 73.

The Prevedellos have two daughters - Rosalin Magliano of Newhall and Corina Paradiso of Valencia - four grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16.  and three great-grandchildren.
