JUBILEES : BLIND DATE SPURS LASTING ROMANCE.Lucille and Leonard Rosenthal of Camarillo celebrated their 50th anniversary with a brunch for 45 family members and friends at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. It was followed by a cruise to Mexico with their three children - son Alan and daughter-in-law Norma of Mercer Island Mer·cer Island A city of west-central Washington, coextensive with Mercer Island in Lake Washington near Seattle. The Rosenthals both enjoy card games and Leonard his bowling league. They also enjoy traveling and have taken more than a dozen cruises, visiting Europe, Israel, Australia, New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia.
