JUBILEE; TOGETHERNESS FOR 66 YEARS.


Bernard and Evelyn Friedman's family planned a party to celebrate the couple's 65th wedding anniversary last year, but it was canceled due after Bernard suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized for two months.

This year, the family celebrated 85-year-old Evelyn and 86-year-old Bernard's wedding anniversary at a luncheon held at Louise's Trattoria trat·to·ri·a

The celebration was especially poignant because Evelyn passed away on Nov. 11.

The Friedmans met through friends at Crane College in Chicago and dated two years before marrying.

Bernard also attended Northwestern Business College in Chicago. He was an accountant and general business administrator as well as a violinist for most of his adult life. He began playing the violin The violin player usually holds the instrument under the chin, supported by the left shoulder (see below for variations of this posture). The strings are sounded either by drawing the bow across them (arco), or sometimes by plucking them (pizzicato).  when he was 13 and played with the De Paul University Orchestra in Chicago; the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra Valley Symphony Orchestra could mean:

He still practices and plays for his enjoyment, but has been unable to continue to play with an orchestra because of health problems.

Evelyn worked as bookkeeper and a secretary for many years. She also played the violin until she married, had their two children and became involved in all their activities.

The Friedmans were members of Beth Emet Temple. The two traveled in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  and Europe.

Bernard was honored by the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, B'nai Darom Temple and the Ocala Festival Orchestra - all in Ocala, Fla - for his many hours and 18 years of service to that community.

The couple's children are Ilene Shoub-Schulstad of Chatsworth and Richard Sichelle of Chicago. There are six grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16.  and 13 great-grandchildren.
