In announcing the acquisition, Gary Smalley, president of Dayton Parts Inc., JPE's manufacturer and distributor of heavy duty undercarriage parts, said, "By combining our companies, we add complementary product lines to our product offering, which enables us to provide one-stop shopping for our customers and strengthens our unique position in the heavy duty marketplace. In addition, BATCO brings us a significant new group of customers to whom we can sell our combined product offering."

This acquisition fits our strategy of continued growth in our aftermarket business, as well as our OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. JPE Inc. acquires and develops companies that manufacture and/or distribute automotive and truck components for the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and the aftermarket. JPE's strategy is to grow internally and through acquisitions in which products, market share and profits can grow.
