JONES NAMED VICE PRESIDENT AT US FACILITIES CORP.

 COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct. 19 /PRNewsire/ -- Edward D. Jones III, a prominent healthcare industry executive, has been named vice president of US Facilities Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: USRE), the company announced today.
 "We are extremely pleased that Ed has joined our organization," commented George Kadonada, US Facilities chairman and chief executive officer. "His background in healthcare, economics and strategic planning will be of enormous benefit to US Facilities and its subsidiary companies as they analyze new market opportunities in this era of healthcare market change."
 e?s' primary areas of responsibility include oversight of corporate strategic planning and government relations. He will operate out of US Facilities Atlanta office.
 Jones joins US Facilities after three years with Medical Review Systems (MRS), a medical review company, which he co-founded and where he served as executive vice president.
 Previously, Jones served as consultant to the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences on the effects of economic regulatory reform, and as consulting economist to the United States Sentencing Commission. He has held senior positions in the Central Intelligence Agency and United States Department of Justice, and served as private consultant in a number of industries, including insurance. He holds degrees in economics from the University of Chicago and Washington University in St. Louis.
 US Facilities Corp. is a specialty insurer principally engaged in the marketing, underwriting and reinsuring of medical stop-loss coverage through its subsidiaries, US Benefits Inc., and USF RE Insurance Co. USF RE also reinsures property and casualty business through reinsurance intermediaries nationwide.
